Ivan Fernandes

Ivan Fernandes is a Bangkok based journalist and Managing Editor of an online international daily providing quality content about politics, society, religion, culture, education and ethics.  He was born in Calcutta where he grew up. He has a Bachelor of Arts (English Honours) from Calcutta, a Bachelor of Philosophy from Madras and a Masters of Arts (English) from Pune. He has been a journalist for more than 25 years, specializing in social and religious development issues in South and Southeast Asia. He speaks several Asian languages and is passionate about Asian literature and spirituality, photography and philately. Requiem for Calcutta is his first book and he is currently working on his second novel which is also set in his beloved Calcutta.
